ABOUT AUDREY
Audrey creates collages from a variety of sources, -- her own photographs, found objects, old letters and text. The collage is printed on canvas; which she then paints over the entire surface. The result is something entirely separate from the original photograph and it is her belief that the elimination of the obvious distinction between various art forms, such as photography and painting, allows the viewer to free themselves from a limited identification of the artistic process. Instead, a unique rendering emerges that blurs such distinct definitions, and renders a more profound reflection on the part of the viewer.
